End The Drug War Initiative

Starting in September 2014, Students For Liberty started a global campaign aimed to end the inefficient and tragic War on Drugs. The War on Drugs has undoubtedly been one of the worst political mistakes of the 20th and 21st centuries.

End the Drug War is a single-issue campaign produced and delivered by Students For Liberty and supported by partners to raise awareness about the failed War on Drugs and to show policymakers all over the world that the millennial generation is united against the violence, waste, corruption, and curtailment of freedom perpetuated by the drug war.

Activities Students For Liberty organised in the past three and a half years include:

  • Harm reduction and education trainings
  • Protests and gatherings
  • Writing postcards to incarcerated drug convicts
  • Media appearances and debates
  • Opening up the discussion in their local areas

About Students For Liberty

Students For Liberty is a rapidly growing network of pro-liberty students from all over the world. Our mission is to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty. We are the largest libertarian student organization in the world. We accomplish this through a strategy of empowerment, identifying the top student leaders and training them to be agents of change in their communities. What began as a small meeting of young leaders has become an international movement of students with thousands of leaders around the world and with operations on every inhabited continent. The numbers above represent SFL's impact since its founding.
